“This type of music would be comfortable at the Grand Ole Opry, Austin City Limits and they wouldn’t get kicked off that old fogey classic Lawrence Welk Show either. It’s that’s diversified, satisfying and most importantly, good. “

-John Apice, No Depression

David Jacobs-Strain – May 12, 2018

This photo captures musician David Jacobs-Strain well.  Many of his songs are about his beloved home state of Oregon.  He’s one of the best slide guitar players of his generation. His cap reads “Make biscuits, not war”. How could anyone disagree with that?  We still have a few seats left for the show at 7:00 pm on May 12, 2018. There is an optional potluck at 6:00 pm prior to the show. There may or may not be biscuits.
